Lori has spent the last 20 years directing and choreographing for Middletown and Valley Central High Schools. Among the productions she has brought to this stage, her favorites include, Hello Dolly, Oklahoma, The Boyfriend, Anything Goes, Mame, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Damn Yankees, West Side Story and Big River. She has also directed and choreographed for Marlboro and Warwick High Schools.
Lori has enjoyed lead roles playing Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Lizzie in Baby, Golda in Fiddler On The Roof, Amy in Company, Winifred in Once Upon A Mattress, Agnes in I Do, I Do, Girl #2 in Closer Than Ever, Melissa in Love Letters, MLynn in Steel Magnolias and portraying Mama Rose in Creative Theatre s production of Gypsy. She was also part of the singing wait staff for Bodles Opera House.
Lori has studied ballet and jazz at Ballet Arts at Carnegie Recital Hall and is presently studying at The Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Lori has been nominated for the 2000 Helen Hayes Theatre Award for Best Director and Best Choreography for her work in West Side Story for Middletown High School. She is also a member of the New York State Theatre Education Association.
