Carmine has performed in many community theater productions in Orange, Sullivan and Dutchess counties and has directed for Northern Westchester Center for the Arts and CT-MWP. He has appeared in SummerStar's productions of Urinetown the Musical and Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik). Others include Into the Woods (Baker), Guys and Dolls (Nathan Detroit), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Pilot). Play credits include Taming of the Shrew (Gremio), Jake's Women (Jake), Barefoot in the Park (Velasko) and The Sister's Rosensweig (Mervyn Kant) to name a few. Opera credits include The Barber of Seville (Dr. Bartolo), Dialogue of the Carmelites (Revolutionary), and The Magic Flute (Priest).
